Micah has been using our big new patio to make a bike ramp track. He drug up all these old boards from the back of the property to make the ramps. Not exactly what I had envisioned for my new patio, but I'll let him have fun with it for a while. And oops, I just realized he wasn't even wearing his helmet in the picture. I did make him put it on after I took the picture, though.

Backyard Projects
This is our backyard after all the sod was laid today. It took Isaiah and I about 5 hours to lay it all down, which included a couple of breaks by me to pick up Lily from preschool and change a diaper or two. It is so much bigger and I am excited not to have a big mud patch anymore! Now we just have to get the fence up.
Isaiah's cousin was doing some work with a backhoe in the back of the property, so Lily got to "drive" it. She thought it was pretty cool and would have stayed there all day if I let her.

Three in the Tub!
While I was cleaning up from dinner tonight, I told the kids that it was bath night. Before I knew it, they all went running down the hall. By the time I got there, Micah was filling the bath, he and Lily were in the tub, and Lucy was stripping. They are probably getting a little big to all be in the bath together, but it was so cute!

Chocolate- Covered Strawberry Faces
We made chocolate-covered strawberries for a special treat after dinner tonight. Yum! As you can see, the kids gobbled them up!

Wednesday Night
It is Wednesday night and Isaiah is at Youth Group. This is the third night in a row he has been "working". Three down, one to go! I am getting pretty used to doing the bedtime routine by myself. However, we did have one minor catastrophe last night. Lucy was climbing onto the bathroom stepstool and somehow slipped and ended up putting two teeth through her bottom lip. The poor thing! She is fine, but it looks pretty brutal.
Here we go...
So, I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now. I'm not sure why it took me so long to jump on the boat. I guess I wasn't sure where to start. In fact, I'm still not sure I know where to start, but here goes...
