Happy 4th Birthday to Lucy!
I can hardly believe that my baby is 4 years old. It is sad because she is our last baby and is growing up so fast.
Lucy wanted to go to Red Robin for her birthday, so we just had a small family dinner there. She just loved all the attention and even got her own sundae.
The birthday girl with "Ma".

The girls with Aunt D.
Even Micah let me take a picture with him.
After Red Robin, we all came back to our house for cake and ice cream and presents.
At 4 years old, Lucy:
-is a little firecracker. She has a mind of her own and is not afraid to tell you what she thinks.
-is very loving and generous with her hugs and kisses. She is always telling me how much she loves me (I have also heard plenty of times how mean I am).
-loves to wear dresses and would wear one every day if I let her.
-adores her big brother and sister and wants to do everything just like them.
-is a master at tormenting her big brother and sister. In the true spirit of the youngest child, she knows just how to push each their buttons.
-loves preschool and is so excited to go to school like the big kids.
-is so much fun to have around. I am going to miss her soooo much next year when she goes to kindergarten :(
Happy 4th Birthday, our little Lucy bug! You are one special 4-year-old.
Summer Camp
Wow, the summer really flew by and here we are getting ready for Fall already. I have been slacking off the blogging lately, so I am playing some major catch up on my posts. It has been a crazy summer, so here goes...
We started off our summer with our annual trip to Silverlake Camp. This year was a little different because in the past, Isaiah has directed the Middle School and High School part of the camp. This year, as the "Family Pastor", he was helping with the younger kids. Also, Micah was old enough to be camper this year and got to stay in a cabin with his friends. The kids love this camp and always have a blast. They have a zip line (Lily's favorite), a giant swing, a lake with paddle boats and canoes, lots of crafts, and a nightly campfire This year, they even got to shoot paintball guns.
Bible verse paintball? Who would have thought?
The girls made these mustaches at craft time. I just love these silly girls!

Ready for the zip line!
The only downside to the week was that Micah ended up getting sick halfway through camp. At first, the nurse thought he was just dehydrated, but he ended up getting a pretty high fever and a bad cough. By the time we got home, we decided to take him to the doctor and it's a good thing because he ended up having pneumonia. Poor kid. He was such a trooper, too, and still wanted to participate in everything even though he wasn't feeling good.
