Lily's Ballet Recital

This will probably be Lily's last year of ballet for a while. It has been a struggle getting her to go to class every week, but she just loves the recitals. In fact, she asked me one day if she could just do the recital but not go to class. Sorry Lily, but it just doesn't work that way. That girl just loves the spotlight. Anyway, the long-awaited recital was June 9th this year. The girls' costumes were gorgeous(they better be for $65) and Lily got the royal treatment. Ma even brought her a dozen roses.

Camping at Tucannon

Over Memorial Day weekend, we went on our annual camping trip with Isaiah's family. Despite the weather(It was freezing!), we managed to have some fun. Here are some highlights from the trip.

All in all, we survived. It is no secret that this is not my favorite trip of the year. It's not that I don't like camping...I just would like it to be a little warmer when I camp. Oh, and a bathroom and warm shower would help, too :) It was pretty chilly this year and rained off and on. Thank goodness for the DVD player in Ma and Pa's camp trailer!
